This
is one I did in my Art Class I took in College. As much as I hated
being told what to draw, I had fun with this class. I had only done
pencil drawings to this point and wanted to learn to use different color
mediums. So I took Drawing II at Cameron University in Lawton Oklahoma.
This one's assigned theme was to do a picture with a game board.
I used Monopoly and made it the game of death. I then used the man
on the MegaDeath Peace Sells Album cover and placed him on the board. You
can't see the detail but the board places are all changed. Like the
RailRoads are Mortuaries and have Hurst instead of railroad cars, Jail
is Hell, etc. Morbid I know but I like to stretch the themes.
This one is Color Pencil on 100% Ragweed paper with pastel for the fire.
This took me, believe it of not 26 hours of actual work time to complete.
Although many of the images are borrowed and combined into my own little
idea, I think this is one of my better accomplishments. You can see
the detail by looking at the pic named gameodc.jpg.
