The following is all based on what the Bible says
to be true and correct. I have a very analytical mine and usually
need proof of everything. This I believe wholly on faith and actually
feel it deep inside me to be true.
I believe in God the Father, God the Son (Jesus
Christ), and God the Holy Spirit. Each one is fully God, yet each is a
distinct Personification and different Aspect of God which plays it's own
role. I believe in the deity of Christ; that when He came to earth,
He was God in the flesh.
I believe in the virgin birth, a seed planted by
God Himself. I believe in His resurrection from the grave and that
He waits and will return to earth. I believe in salvation by faith
and His grace. I believe that works are done to honor God and you
will want to do them for him, but no work will save us. Salvation
is obtained by believing in Jesus Christ; believing that He died on the
cross for us as a final, perfect sacrifice for all humanity to pay for
our sins, and believing that He rose again from the grave. I believe
we must repent of our sins and ask Jesus to come into our hearts and to
forgive us of those sins, and accepting Jesus Christ as Lord and Saviour
of our lives.
I believe that baptism is commanded of believers,
but in no way is part of or a way to save your soul, but is rather a sign
of obedience to Jesus Christ. Baptism, symbolizes the death, burial,
and resurrection of Jesus Christ. It also symbolizes burying
your old, sinful nature, and being resurrected as a new body in Christ.
I believe that the Bible, consisting of both the
Old and New Testament, was written by men and inspired by God through the
Holy Spirit. I believe the Bible is the final authority on all doctrinal
and spiritual matters and that nothing supersedes its authority.
I also believe that no other book has God's hand on it. Although
many may seem harmless or to be good guidelines, I don't believe there
is any other reference was inspired or endorsed by God Almighty.
I believe that the bible as it is read, speaks directly to the reader and
through it God will let you know what you need to know at that particular
time in your life. I don't think every word is the literal end as
written. You have to let God speak to you through it.
